First TIME in History, A MEXICAN Fighter represents UPPER ECHELON of Boxing

Why can’t several fans embrace diversity? Canelo won’t be here long. If you’re a fan of the sport the new gen will dictate the face, but for the time being Canelo has earned the spot, and the eye test shows he’s the best. He may not be SRR or SRL or Ali or Tyson, but as of now there’s no other proven fighter like him.

And various demographix can’t handle it. I say relax! Take a chill pill mayne! I’ve seen black boxing fans on YouTube argue with other black boxing fans regarding Canelo. Why is it a problem that Canelo replaces Crawford?

    It was bound to happen.

Historically, African Americans have paved the way of the sport for the better good of boxing. Legends, names, we know.. The last boxer to transcend monetization was Mayweather Jr. AJ has brought attendance measures for the greater good of UK Boxing. I just don’t understand why LDBC fans cry about PEDS when American Sports history in all sports, boxing, Olympics, Gold Medalists or Olympians were caught with steroids.

    It’s Canelo’s Time! Embrace it.

    Mexico > boxing

I’m not even Mexican but any fight fan knows that’s the best school of boxing and god bless Mexico for keeping our wonderful sport alive and thriving.

Mexico has had loads of great champions, could even be argued the greatest country in the world for producing great fighters.

I have no problem with Canelo. He earned what his has with good fighting and hard training. You and a few other posters on here turning him into a super human god and gushing over him with endless threads is what I find annoying. He has become overrated by many on here. The other day there was a poll on who would win a fight between Canelo and AJ and Canelo won the poll. It is not Canelo's fault and he never said he could beat AJ or even suggested he might. It is guys like you who constantly start absurd threads like this over praising Canelo that I find annoying.

Most don't care above who Canelo is ranked and he has tons of fans in the African-American community. I'd say in the same proportion Crawford has in the Mexican community.

And whether Crawford is a better fighter than Canelo is arguable. I would say Canelo has the better resume, but he isn't clearly better than Crawford when it comes to the eye-test, sorry.
