Canelo is a contractual free agent. He is not legally obligated to any promoter or network; Which makes a fight with Erroll Spence, Jr more practical. However, the very same cannot be said about Terence Crawford.

He is both contractually and legally obligated to ESPN and Top Rank. If Crawford was a free agent and started taking offers from Al Haymon Spence would agree to fight him today.

However, since he is signed with another promoter; His chances of fighting Erroll Spence is very slim to none. Besides, he is just not a big enough PPV draw to do a joint promotion with.

Two points you're missing or perhaps you don't understand.... The fighter is the CEO, the promotor is managing partner, director of sales.... If EVER TC were to have any type of allegiance with A Haymon, TC would be by FAR Haymon's best client, period, bar none!!

Open question to fans. If u were PBC would u make the fight right now knowing 1. Crawford does poor PPV? 2. Knowing that u would have to share profit with Arum? 3.Or would u let Crawfords contract expire and sign him to PBC so everyone can make more $$$ after next Oct 2021?

Spence doesn't exactly do good PPV numbers himself, looking at his previous fights his numbers are decreasing every fight, his numbers are on a downward trend.

When you got old men like Mike Tyson doing over a million it proves 2 things, 1 the market is still out there and 2 they don't give 2 fkks about Crawford or Spence. And to be honest the fact that these types of fights are not happening is a big factor why.

If I were HAYMON, Who is a Harvard graduate, I wouldn't touch this fight until I could make real $$ on it. Oct 2021, if Crawford is real, he will sign with PBC so there can be no excuses and he'd get paid more. Also, By Spence fighting Pac and winning, it gets both Spence and Crawford the real money because now they have worldwide appeal from different countries.

If I thought the Pac fight is s real possibility then yea, however I really don't see this fight ever happening. Pacquiao will fight Mikey Garcia and maybe Shawn Porter and then he's going to retire.

Spence 60-40 offer is about right but not no 70-30 Or 80-20 cuz that sounds like pricing themselves out of the fight on purpose!

I also don’t like how Bud’s team only want 50-50, I’m sorry Bud isn’t a big draw at all, I feel McIntyre should totally call Spence bluff an accept the 60-40 in a 2 fight deal where if Bud wins then he gets lions share in rematch 60-40 his way!

Spence/M.Garcia was 350k was more than Crawford 2 PPV's
Spence/Porter was 325k was more than Crawfords 2 PPV's
Spence/D. Garcia 225k in a pandemic is not bad either.
There is only a few that can do higher. Canelo,Wilder/Fury and Pac seems to be only fighters that does better.

If it's not about money, then make it 50-50.

If it is about money, make it 60-40 TO THE WINNER of the fight.

If you don't want to fight, just say so.
