I get it, the author wanted to hype up Teo. I get that.

But, you can't sit there and talk about the fights not happening in other divisions then try to imply Teo is different.

Last I checked, the opponent most mentioned as next for Teo is his mandatory, Kambosos. Teo himself has mentioned going to 140 next. When asked about Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Tank Davis, Teo equivocates. Teo acts like they need to prove themselves more, as if two of those three (Ryan and Tank) aren't larger draws and bigger names than Teo is...and, as if the only reason Teo got the Loma fight is because Vasyl liked his chances against Lopez much better than he saw them vs Haney.

In other words, it's not so much a takeover as it is a cash grab...which is fine. He did beat Commey and Loma and deserves to be recognized for that. And, he shouldn't be criticized for trying to parley his success into big paydays. Just stop writing crap that tries to frame Teo Lopez as acting any different than any other fighter who finds himself with real leverage.

But, the hype train must go on, right?
Ok you make a good point which I don't necessarily agree with, regarding tank and Garcia, specifically Garcia. Yes he's a draw but that doesn't translate to being a good opponent..who has he beaten that would suggest that? Because ppl say he's good? .. If he gets past campbell then he solidifies the hype.
And Tank is absolutely a great opponent for two.
I'm just not sold on the flash just yet. Don't get me wrong I think he's good but he lacks the opposition that would suggest he's up there.
