In other words, we are going to talk with Canelo and see if he is ok with us removing the franchise title that we created specifically for him since he probably won’t ever fight at 160 again. If he gets even a little bit upset during the conversation, we will drop the topic all together and allow him to keep the title for life just as we originally intended. Or maybe we will just name him franchise champion at 168 if he’s ok with that. As always, our highest priority remains the emotional well being of canelo and our un breakable bond.
