Who beat Oscar more convincingly? Floyd or Pernell

Floyd got a close split decision against Oscar...but I personally think Floyd should've gotten UD as I gave him 8 rounds pretty convincingly. Some people still think this fight was really close and that Oscar was over the hill. I think it was competitive, and even though Oscar was never seriously hurt or knocked down, there's no argument that Oscar won.


On the other hand, Pernell lose a fairly wide UD against Oscar. This was prime Oscar as he was undefeated and was 8 years younger. Pernell scored a knockdown and made Oscar look amateur during lots of moments of the fight. That being said, I don't think Pernell was offensive enough and I felt like Oscar edged him out, but barely.

Floyd, because Whittaker didn’t even win. Sure you can make the case that Whittaker is won and that the judges were bought out, but that shouldn’t negate the fact that you can just as easily make a case for Oscar beating Sweet Pea.

Its been years since I watched the Pernell fight but It seems to me like I thought Sweet Pea won that one. Im not sure I ever watched the Floyd fight.
