Why is everything nowadays “he doesn’t need him. He needs him”? If there is demand. Make the fights.

Just look how many years in between fights those rematches took. Yet ppl give Canelo a hard time for trying to age GGG but are ok with Manny taking years to give marquez rematches

Pacquiao always gave Marquez the rematches quick. The big gap after the 2nd fight was because Marquez turned down the rematch.

Correction. I mean’t after the first fight.

That was a totally different situation. Also, Pacquiao stepped on Marquez's foot. That was 1 in a million. I got Canelo all day over GGG in the rubber match. And over everyone else. Bivol and Beterbiev would beat him in a real, even boxing match, but that's not the world we live in. Canelo all day. A side is more important than size, talent, power, or boxing.

Canelo already said he'll honour the WBC mandatory then wants to unify at 168.
Unless Golovkin or Andrade go to 168 and get a title they aren't gonna get a shot in 2021 imo. However both are with dazn, as is Saunders, so if they want that fight it shouldn't be too difficult to make - except Saunders doesn't want to fight anyone decent and jeopardise that canelo retirement $$$!

                    I think it's the opposite...

Canelo will be remembered for NOT taking the 3rd fight, immediately when it needed to happen. GGG is the only legitimate opponent Canelo has had in recent years, all other opponents have looked like sparring partners. Also, In the eyes of most Boxing Fans and the Media, Golovkin is 2-0 against Canelo (you can argue a Draw on the 2nd fight, but I didn't see enough from Canelo to win the 2nd fight). At this stage, if Canelo does eventually take the 3rd fight when GGG is nearly 40 years old, he won't get the credit he could have earned by taking an immediate trilogy (If Canelo happens to win convincingly by beating an old man, hence, take the fight ASAP or lose any credibility).

"Also an option for either man, one Billy Joe Saunders.

The brash Briton product was WBO middleweight champion during a chunk of Golovkin's initial title reign and his was the only belt Golovkin never secured a chance to win.

Golovkin says it’s because Saunders never wanted the bout. Saunders predictably disagrees.

And if Alvarez does demand the trilogy go to 168, it wouldn’t be a bad move for Golovkin to get a belt.

Hearn himself suggested Saunders could be a good match for Golovkin, and added Andrade to the conversation, too."

Of course BJ Saunders is the way to go, but for whom? Andrade has the inside track, with WBO rules, so I would suggest he take some initiative, and make that happen ASAP! If Andrade does not, then GGG should seek the challenge! Andrade vs. GGG @ 160 does nothing to move the needle! If Canelo is going to come back to 160, it will be for Errol Spence in Jerry's World!
