Anthony Joshuas training team are ruining him as a fighter

    I maintain this

Why on earth was he on the back foot, backing up against Kubrat Pulev?

Can someone explain this to me, Pulev has no power, not even a bit of power, and he can't **** on the inside at all.

Joshua going into that ring should have been of the mindset that Pulev needs to be more afraid of him than he does of Pulev, if anyone should have been running in that ring it's Pulev

Mcracken and Co have trained AJ to fight MOIST

Instead of all this running on the back foot, they should have been training him to be better in the front foot, instead of training him to run away and play safe from the outside how about you train him to move his head or how to block on the inside?

Sorry but the man is a 6'6" beast who has great power and quick hands, he should be destructive. I know his chin can be got but teach him how to attack effeciently not wrecklessly and that'd be solved. His opponents should be ****ting themselves and on the back foot trying to get away from him, not coming forward lobbing power shots wrecklessly at him lol

He’s fought like that since the Povetkin fight.

I think the “robot”, “stiff” taunts from his critics struck a nerve with him and he’s tried to become a retreating counter puncher. This style he’s adopted has conceded what was once great ring generalship and his opponents have been emboldened because of it.

If you look at the fights since Povetkin, he concedes center ring instead of taking it like he used to and it’s lead to difficulties in every fight since. He’s trying to be slick, but he looks nervous and it lead to the Ruiz upset. As long as he fights in that style, he will be susceptible to upset losses by fighters he would otherwise dominate and unless he returns to it, he has no chance against Fury.

It's ridiculous, there is no way a fighter with those attributes should be running away, he needs to always be the hammer, its just a case of being smart about it and using educated offence rather than just swinging away like an ape man
