Yes, Canelo fights stiffs, unlike Floyd Mayweather who fights worthies like McGregor, Logan Paul, and Tenshin Nasukawa the teenager from Japan.

Seriously, you say Canelo won't fight anyone who has a chance to beat him. That is actually high praise coming from you because Canelo is fighting champion after champion, future hall-of-fame boxers, and the like. And you say not one of them had a chance to beat him? You rate Canelo higher than I do.

How can you be a man to beat at a certain weight class that you cannot make? That’s like saying I’m the best pie maker the world over but bake cakes.

You’re going to be extremely disappointed again and again and again. I firmly believe Plant batters Benevidez let alone Canelo. Why? Because Benevidez while he has power has more holes in his game than Swiss Cheese. He lunges with his punches, has poor foot work and throws wide sweeping shots. Benevidez is custom made for Plant and Canelo. Both are arguably the fastest in the division, both have masterful footwork and both are elite counter punchers.

I like Benevidez but I’d have to say he gets lit up like a Christmas tree if and a BIG IF he can make weight. We don’t know what division he fights in.

We've had this conversation about Plant. I'm rooting for him to take over the division and trust me when I say I BELIEVE he is the most talented fighter at 168 but Benavidez and Canelo both have faced opposition more in their careers. I'm basing my opinion off of that and various things I've seen in the ring. I'm not gonna say I'm 100 percent sure Plant loses to either guy. I am saying with 100 percent certainty if he can beat both guys he tops the P4P chart as the best fighter in the world. I am literally minutes away from where Plant was raised he is a hometown hero to any boxing fan whatsoever and would LOVE to see him do that. I just dont know if he can. Until somebody topples Benavidez I put him as the man to beat for the moment. I am a HUGE Plant fan but the lifelong boxing fan in me says he has a tough hill to climb to become " that guy " in the division.

Canelo is definitely in his prime right now. I think Bivol and Beterbiev are probably a step too far so Canelo should try to win all the belts at 168. It's a tough ask, I don't think it's guaranteed that he'll be able to do it but it's a realistic possibility imo. All the guys at 168 have flaws and are beatable.
