I also don't see any mention of why did Pacquiao duck the best champs at 154. What's weird is almost no one here is demanding that Beterbiev and Bivol should fight each other instead all I see is, "Canelo should stop ducking Beterbiev and Bivol"

I don't think world title fights should be allowed to be fought at a catchweight. Why even have weight classes and world titles if the weight limit can be changed around? If no title is being fought for then any weight the two boxers agree to is OK by me. To me Pac was never a 154 pound champion and his fight with Margarito was a bogus world title fight with the weight limit being closer to welterweight. I am a big Pac fan but still it was just a pretend title fight. Pac is really just a big lightweight and has no business fighting at 154. After the fight with Margarito Pac said he was badly hurt by a body punch and he would never again fight above welterweight because his body could not take the power of hard punchers above 147. -
Canelo dropped his WBO light heavyweight title so he is no longer a champion at that weight and he will concentrate on the super middleweight division. He now has no obligation to fight guys at 175 and Kovalev was the only light heavyweight champion he wanted to fight. I don't think Canelo will ever fight Beterbiev or Bivol and I think they both would beat him at 175. Bivol has offered to fight Canelo at 168 for about 2 years now as Bivol says he is comfortable at 168. I think he beats Canelo at 168.Comment

because the margarito fight is the way to get the 8th div world champ.. he wouldn't fight margarito if there's no prize to get. it would be pointless.. pac would've fought somebody else if its profitable to 8th div belt.Comment

Pac was outweighed by almost twenty pounds in the ring. Canelo is more comfortable at 175. Manny was also fighting in his eighth weight class (even skipped over two). How many weight classes did Canelo move up for Kovalev? Not even half as many.Comment

Cuz Canelo is so roided up on PEDs that he walks into the ring at 180+, completely ripped takes a punch from Kovalev/GGG like it's nothing. Pac wasn't as roided up and would weight in at 147/come in at 145.Comment

coz canelo will not let himself lose in weight difference he will try to be more heavier or atleast equal to his opponent so he can take the punches.. while pac on the other hand is still fighting the heavier opponents even though he is much much lighter than them on the fight night.. true warrior.Comment
