Comments Thread For: Canelo Alvarez Casually Takes The Super Middleweight Title From Callum Smith

By Corey Erdman - Canelo Alvarez's private jet touched down at Million Air, a luxury airport on the outskirts of San Antonio, and the boxing superstar emerged wearing designer floral print pajamas and an unbuttoned pea coat. The flight landed at midnight on Tuesday morning, so it was understandable that Canelo would want to be as comfy as poss....

"Statistically, Canelo held Smith to landing just 18.4% of his punches, while landing 43.3% of his own, according to CompuBox. Canelo made Smith miss 440 punches in total on the night. More impressive than the numbers themselves was the way he managed to do it."

That's what you call "domination!" Remember when Canelo beat Rocky Fielding, and everyone was saying, "I bet he won't fight Callum Smith!" Well fix your faces, he just beat the best SMW in the game! SALUD SAUL!

Can anyone in Canelo's weight range beat this guy? Canelo is on top of the world--no real challengers.

Doesn't seem like it. I honestly thought that Smith presented a real threat, but Canelo never left 3rd gear. GGG was the one guy who could threaten Canelo at 160 (I feel they split the first two), but he just seems a bit slower at 38. He still looks great physically and can easily take apart 3rd-tier guys like Szeremeta, but I have doubts he could push Canelo again like he's done before. Canelo is firing on all cylinders and really seems to be at the peak of his powers right now.

Nelo has really improved, he's dominating people now. Around time he fought floyd he wasnt. He didn't look like a beast. He didn't stop old man ssm, he didn't look great against trout, or floyd. Some think cott o beat him even.
But now people say how good he is

ResearchTrusted Source (healthline.com) has found that the brain doesn’t fully develop until the age of 25 and men usually achieve peak muscle mass somewhere between the age of 20 and 30.
