Canelo and GGG fought in 16 months after the Khan fight.

Canelo and GGG never spoke about money

Takes two to want it, and to be fair to both guys with the negotiations.

Dont forget it took a long time to make Canelo GGG, Canelo was not budging from 155 for quite a while.

There was nothing easy about making that fight. They fought about weight for years. No negotiation with Canelo/GBP is smooth sailing on the finances either.

What? There was lots of talk about money. Canelo had to give in to Golovkins demands. Same thing with the rematch too.

          Golovkin accepted B-Side.

          Really not hard to understand.

Where is they fought about weight “for years?” Where are the Boxingscene articles about it? I can bump about 10 articles (which I do) on a specific subject found on Boxingscene.

Sure. He could have been like Crawford, claiming to be ducked because he deserved 60% for sparking Steve Rolls.

Instead, Golovkin accepted B-Side for a chance at greatness.

You're delusional. There was a whole lot of talk about money and weight.

Canelo wanted to give GGG 15 percent of the ppv and GGG demanded 40 percent. They fought a long time about that and the 155lb catchweight.

Even for the rematch they fought about money as GGG wanted 50/50 for the rematch. Canelo eventually had to concede to GGG's demands and give him 50/50.
