Comments Thread For: Canelo on Golovkin Trilogy: I Don't Run From Nobody!

According to Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, he has no problem with facing Gennadiy Golovkin in a trilogy fight. Canelo and Golovkin fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in September of 2017 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. A year later, at the very same venue, Canelo won a twelve round majority decision in their action-packed rematch.

GGG needs to make sure where they fight as he was robbed twice. Canelos camp has alot to say on venue judges referees etc. GGG beat him twice in my book.

Cheatelo is back on the Mexican meat. I wonder if they bother testing him anymore. Got a gift draw in the first fight.

The argument being, without GBP backing now maybe Canelo doesnt get that Adelaide Byrd nudge.

That being written GGG has gotten older, and Canelo has gotten better since their first fight.

Go ahead and retire him already Canelo so people can STFU about it but then again no they won't, after he retires GGG people will just say "Oh Well GGG Was Old" so it is Lose/Lose for Canelo a No Win Situation

Soon to be 39 years old GGG has No Chance vs this Version of Canelo

true, but he surely wont need the nudge now & hes still the cashcow i would say and money talks and ggg barely speaks english

Don't think Canelo retires Golovkin. I give Canelo credit for doing what he did against Smith but it's amazing how much better these guys make him by simply not having a jab. Fielding didn't have one, Jacobs doesn't really have a jab, Smith doesn't have a jab. Kovalev did and we saw how he made Canelo look rather uninspiring at times. So long as GGG has his usual jab, Canelo won't blast through him. He might finally give a convincing win but anyone thinking he blasts through Gennadiy is just wishful thinking.
