In which case if that was the view , then that ranking should’ve changed a year ago. But he did get the win and the only difference is he just lost to canelo on points.

Why is he above BJS?

Saunders has a win over Ryder, albeit at 160 and is a 2 weight world champ

Well if they’re only counting things at 168 then BJS has only has a few fights there I guess. But overall he has a better resume than Plant, Benavidez etc in his career.

Even on the boxrec rankings, BJS has wins over 3 of the current top 15, which is more than can be said for the others, outside of Canelo.
