I think Spence just likes throwing out Canelo's name out there for whatever reason. Canelo is not going to 160 anymore. Spence and Crawford need to stop clowning already and fight before your even throwing out these ideas.

Spence as much as I rate him is just trying to make a name for himself .He's a 147 fighter . Canelo is a 168 and has just said to the world that is where he is going to be. Spence has business at 147 with Crawford but seems to be ducking that. Canelo would hammer Spence . he needs to stay in his weight class.

It's like people around here forgot that Spence debuted at 154 and walks around at 190 when he's not seriously training.

He DRAINS himself down to 147, he's talked about it after the Mikey fight.

I would argue that 160 is likely his natural fighting weight and the point his power would taper off.

There is no star power at 154, so he's now looking to do what Floyd did with De La Hoya (a fight where Floyd had never fought at the weight but had to take the chance to achieve greatness).

I say it depends on what Manny's going to do. If he can get a Pacquiao fight at 147, Spence will definitely take that fight over moving up.
