Promoters, and the organization involved should order an immediate rematch. Rodriguez has to open up on Gaballo, if you want the win go after your opponent. You already know that you can out box him, now go for knock downs. You used to score knockouts, stop settling for decisions. Decisions can go against you, as you just found out. I agree that Donaire should fight with Oubaali for the title, and the winner should defend against Rodriguez, Gaballo rematch winner.

I don't blame Rodriguez at all for wanting to box him all the way. I mean Rodriguez is coming back from a KO loss so it's only natural that he'd want to be more cautious. He did school Gaballo and won that fight hands down imo

_Rexy_, it's not what they want , it's what happened in the ring that matters. Bad decisions are hurting boxings image, with corrupt, or incompetent judges, referees, promoters, and organizations. The guilty parties have to be held accountable, in order to better the sport of boxing. Boxers deserve to receive fair calls, and treatment in as well as outside of the ring. They sacrifice to much to get anything less than a justified outcome, for their effort's. The disparity in the judges score cards in to be investigated. If any corruption, or favoritism is uncovered the judges should have their license's revoked. They should be subsequently be banned from boxing, and the decision reversed. Not only in this particular bout, but in any bouts going forward. That would be a big step in the right direction, in cleaning up the sport of boxing.

Not a chance. Oubali-Donaire can continue what was left behind. Gaballo and Rodriguez can go rematch to settle that disputed result.

So he was robbed I saw that two of those rounds he was rocked so hard he could have been given a 10-8 round but stood his ground bc he knew they told him just make it to the end and we will take care of you. (little joke) I thought he learned in this fight he showed he had a chin, go back and work on things then the scorecards. So we got Canelo coming in to a 30 minute intro with dancers and a band playing, and fireworks. It is a show people same when Wilder/Fury fought it makes me uneasy when I see that stuff. But it bleeds over to the ring the hype is more important then the fight, the buildup is more important then the result. So why was Rod robbed ? A Phillipino that is close to Pac-Man ? We want his next fight so bad we will try and make him happy? The ring is not going to decide who the monster fights next? The cards will. I dont get it but money is behind it all that is for sure. And boxing anseres to no one but the stack of cash in front of them. And the fans have all the power and dont know how to use it or wont. Boycott the next big PPV Boycott the next big fight or two make them take notice. It is all we got left, force them to have a commision, something Nation wide to have to ansere to. Right. Never. But make no mistake the fans are the driver in boxing. Trust me on that fact. Complaining on a forum will not change a thing these guys are about money. It comes from the FAN.

I don't blame him for boxing, for the very reason's that you brought up. The only problem with going to a decision is that you can suffer a controversial/bad decision from the referee, and or the judges. Marvelous Marvin Hagler suffered 2 decisions losses early in his career, from that point he said that he always brings his judges with him. He was referring to his left, and right fist, meaning that he would go for the knockout. That way he would be taking the decision, out of the judges hands by scoring a knockout.

Puerto Rico has no more champions

Plus all their top level fighters losing recently

There's going to be a drought for a long time

Lol I know you didn't just say boxing is full of steroids and then proceed to mention the UFC for an example. Haha that's the joke bro in the UFC they allowed TRT up until 2015 look at Vitor Belfort and the monster he became while he was getting legally pumped with testosterone that was probably messed up during his prime years of actually juicing.

Go look at how many UFC fighters have tested positive in their careers yet they are still adored by you. TJ Dillashaw was using EPO until he got caught and Anderson Silva used HGH those are just 2 big name athletes I could list more if you want.

I agree this fight was a robbery and it was bad for the sport but I've seen robberies in the UFC as well it happens in all combat sports just how it is they need to start overturning decisions and firing the judges responsible for bad scoring until then it's not going to change.
