    Ngannou vs Wilder

Say they both did a crossover boxing rules in mma gloves who get knocked out this would to be one of the more compelling crossovers for wilder lack of boxing ability

Wilder knows a set up or two. Francis doesn't.

Probably Wilder. But both hit hard so it could come down to who lands first, but odds are it'd be the experienced boxer.

Randomly hard hitting HW MMA guy Mark Hunt fought a boxing match a few days ago. In MMA he was a walk away shot sleeping mfers type guy. In boxing he lost a 6 round decision to some unknown guy who was a +200ish dog.

People forget that to get to the top in boxing, you gotta prove you can take a shot. Even guys that are considered chinny, can take a MUCH better shot than your average guy. And at the championship level where most guys can crack, most guys can also take quite a good shot.

MMA, not so much. Its mostly wrestlers who never had to prove they could take a shot, and frankly, as we saw with McGregor vs Mayweather, none of them really hit that hard either... Part of what makes MMA exciting, is that people get slept slept, because none of them can really take a shot. You take guys that grew up boxing like the Diaz brothers, and they just eat the shots of these wrestlers like M&Ms.

I mean you really have to lack pop to have Floyd completely unconcerned about walking you down.

He's never been as good as Maku Haunto.

Eh. I'd argue its different. People wanna act like you could be a boxer in the cage. You can't. You gotta guard against far too many attacks to worry just about your head & body like boxers do so defensive ability is more of a thing in boxing more than boxers just got better chins. So part of why more MMA guys get KO'd is cuz there are so many ways to misdirect your intentions & catch a guy flush & take him out.

In a legit boxing match a MMA guy won't have to worry about takedowns, elbows (as much anyway lol), kicks to the face, kicks to the legs, knees & maybe a thing or two I'm forgetting. This is more why James Toney got decimated in a round than he didn't train, not that him not training did him any favors. And thats why Ray Mercer gots a W in MMA cuz HW's, not unlike in pro boxing, don't got as many weapons in MMA & power is always a big weapon usually in both sports.

Wilder would knock him the *** out.
Wilder may be limited by Boxing standards but he’s been competing as a pro for years now and is a former champion of the world. He definitely has some tricks up his sleeve.

                I actually would love this.

Not a big crossover guy but it would be AN AMAZING FIGHT.

                They both throw windmills

Yeah. His boxing his horrendous for a top 10 boxer but lightyears ahead of any non professional boxer.

u smoking dope bro u be chinny and make it to the top look at most british boxers sorry ima aj fan yet dude stay getting hurt in fights fury dropped by cunningham amir khan everyone. Mmm mma fighter are tough alot dont come from wrestling backgrounds thats outdated for sure look at mcgregor masdival israel overeem ngannou stipe (a golden glove boxer ) pettis holloway n the list goes on. Mmm u know kicks are harder than punches thats proven by science dipsh. Lastly mma cause its closer to real life fighting the gloves are different n lighter way less cushion (fury would love according to?wilder) cause u can grapple n muay thai clinch Its all out war. Ive boxed yet mostly kickboxing and tried mma various years n places from the navy to civilian world I 100% know u dont know wtf u talking bout u never been elbowed to your face nor ever been put or put someone in a basic clinch bully em around with viscious knees. It takes a different mindset more so a marine like gung ho attitude for mma. We all dabbled in other martial arts in the gym out of curiousity especially for fun and it happens like this from experience boxers wants to learn kickboxing or mma since we work togethor on certain things especially kb.well we go over basics then spar for fun n as soon as they get kicked especially to the body or repeatidly behind the knee or put in clinch with knees it always 9/10 f... That yall keep that shh. Its a different type of pain alertness n pain tolerance would u rather prepare only for punches above navel or prepare for anything aka closer to combat n real life. Like football n rugby u got similarities that translate n have ppl that can be successful in both yet few are for various reasons mostly time n energy
