Canelo last few opponents have looked terrible recently

Daniel Jacobs - looks terrible vs Rosado. Most people think he lost.

Callum Smith - looked terrible vs Ryder. Most people think he lost.

GGG - looked terrible vs Derevyanchenko. Most people think he lost

Rocky FIelding - ... lol its Rocky Fielding... end of story

Chavez Jr - just recently quit once again on his fathers undercard vs a journeyman

Kovalev - got knocked out twice by Ward and Eleider Alvarez then nearly KO'd vs Yarde. Then takes a dive vs Canelo

Khan - quit vs Terence Crawford and got dropped by Samuel Vargas

Canelo resume isnt as good as people think. Strategic cherry picking for sure. Let's stop pretending this cherry picker is doing something great. His whole career has been manufactured by false accomplishments.

You cant deny it, Canelo sees an opponent on the down slide then goes for the kill

While some of them are still good wins his fans want to pretend like he beat all of these guys at their apex and took on these fights when they were HOT.

But that's nothing but the furthest thing from the truth.

Worst part is hearing grown ass men cry over that issue. Like ****, take offense with Canelos choices not us who are merely observing.

If Canelo KTFO Smith later tonight its a good win, but had he done it sooner it would have been a BETTER win.

When you’re a star who isn’t hated by the media you can get away with strategic matchmaking

Alvarez taking a page out of the manny pacq playbook

Yea there’s all these names on the record but what were the circumstances surrounding that fight. What condition was the opponent in b4 hand. Was their stock dropping

Canelo and Terence Crawford have a lot in common to be honest. When both of them retire the sport will be in a better place

Exactly, they know their huge rabid fanbases will validate anything they do so as long they choose a decent name or a champion the fans will pretty much accept it no matter the circumstances. If you criticize Manny and Canelo for a cherry pick they say "but what about floyd, but what about charlo" etc

yep plus mainstream sport fans don’t know no better

They see a “name” and are automatically happy with the brand
