Gilberto Ramirez is no joke, at 41-0 (26 KO's), he is a force to be reckoned with. A good boxer, and better puncher he should be given a title shot within his the next 2 fights. I don't think that sitting out 1 year, and 8 months to get out of a contract wasn't a good career move. He could've had another 2 or 3 fights within that time frame. He could've brought his record to 44-0 (29 KO's), and have fought for the title. Then he could've gotten out of the contract, possibly as a 175 pound champion. Losing 1 year and 8 months from your career is never a good idea, Mickey Garcia sat out 2 1/2 years to get out of a contract from Arum also. I just think it slowed down their career's, and their earning's. Worst of all they can never get those 2 years back, they're lost in time. Besides the fact that it didn't hurt Bob Arum as much as it hurt them.

This guy has one of the most disappointing and uninteresting careers of recent memories. I remember having hope for this guy YEARS ago and he still hasn't fought anybody of note. He even makes Andrade resume and career to look hall of fame worthy in comparison.

Good showing after the layoff. I think it was a good fight. Not a cakewalk by any means. Lopez deserves alot of credit. Tough SOB! Like what Ramirez is doing with the promotional side of things. Props to Zurdo and much appreciated from this fan's standpoint!

Zurdo needs to get more active. Since he just recently moved up to the light heavyweight division, I would say he should start with the lesser ranked opponents, rather then the top guys.
There's plenty of journeymen at light heavyweight, Eleider Alvarez, Marcus Browne, Joe Smith Jr, etc.
No need to face the top guys like Bivol, Beterbiev, etc. right off.
But mainly he needs to fight and stay active, even if it means going back down to super middleweight.

Zurdo should try to get 3 quick turnaround fights this year against decent opposition. The 3rd fight could be for a title, he's undefeated, and has some good names on his resume already.
