Imagine canelo in with that bum and his hand speed and youth, he would light that guy up with combinations, it would be brutal, canelo would have taken him out by the 4th
Szeremeta would knock this ginger bum out just like I will knock you out if you continue to insult my shift supervisor you little phaggot

I still see a more one sided iteration of the second fight in Canelo's favor as the most likely outcome and Golovkin looking sharper than his last two against just a guy doesn't really change that in any way. Although I stand by my impression from last year pre covid when this was seemingly on track for this year that Canelo doesn't actually close the show. The chin is just that freakish imo.

I see a one sided beatdown where Gennady makes Canelo his concubine.

Well I do love your use of concubine. Incredibly underrated word. Anyway this is all subject to change or stay the same pending how the ginger looks tomorrow

                    Styles make fights.

There's no such thing as the same "version" of a fighter getting in the ring vs another fighter.

For example the Shane Mosley who fought Margarito getting in the ring 10 times with Vernon Forrest, would play out exactly the same as the two fights the "version" of Shane Mosley who fought Forrest. The variable is the opponent, the constant is GGG/Mosley.

                    Because styles make fights.

For all we know, this "version" of GGG gets KO'ed by Canelo.

If tonight's GGG got in the ring with Canelo, who let's say "struggles" with Smith, in a split decision win, even getting knocked down by Smith...that still wouldn't change anything. The variable in that case would be Smith. For all we know Canelo, who struggles with Smith, gets in the ring with GGG next, in May 1st or 8th 2021, and KO's GGG.

Szeremeta has little to no power and GGG knows this. This allows GGG to fight a certain way that he wouldn't vs Canelo or Jacobs or Derevyanchenko. GGG knows that the opponent in front of him has very little possibility of hurting him and he can fight as he pleases because he has a weakling in front of him. If tonight's GGG fought Canelo, GGG would not run through Canelo at all, as we saw in the rematch where GGG went from saying 'big drama show' and 'Mexican style', to staying way outside and resorting to winning a jabbing contest vs Canelo. With very little power punches thrown/landed on his part. Basically out of concern of Canelo countering him with a hard punch that hurts him bad.

This was obvious in the way Sanchez spoke about the gameplan in the post fight interviews, where he said GGG did not fight like they trained and that he was not supposed to be that cautious and conceded that Canelo won fair and square, which of course got him fired. This is because the fighter in front of him was not a weakling, no chin having fighter. This changed GGG's "Mexican style" game plan and reverted to "Amateur style" point scoring session which he thought was going to get him the win.

I agree about versions and styles. I used version as click bait.

I disagree that Golovkin can't adjust his approach to the next fight though. What we can take away is how they look overall, opponent aside - conditioning, fitness, sharpness, fluidity, timing.
