Boxing is responsible for it's own current demise the best aren't fighting the best, too many belts, promoters, networks, PPV's, paywalls and mismatches.

These retired hall of famers and celebrites earning a few $$ in circus shows aren't taking out of an imaginery pot for professional competitive sport or affecting it's reputation. The majority of people see this event for what it is and it's up to them if they're interested in this type of thing.

Well one argument is that both of them are non boxers and don’t deserve another platform to make even more money than they already have. Personally I don’t give a. S#hit. As for Mayweather he has boxed for 20 years and paid his dues. He is retired now if people still want to pay to watch him good luck to him. I won’t be buying but I wish him nothing but the best
