Before Ryder I would have agreed 100%. Am interested to see how he looks vs Canelo. Think Canelo is too much for him, would be a good scalp for Canelo

canelo doesn't have the foot speed or aggression to close the gap and rough up callum. canelo is slower on his feet and throws very little.

an old past prime kovalev was outworking and outboxing canelo using his long reach and height. while canelo was stationary in front of kovalev. kovalev just gassed himself out and careless with his defense getting caught by one of canelos steroid punches. callum is fresher, taller and rangier than kovalev, and can use the same game plan with much more success and covers up well to avoid canelos steroid punches.

I just don't know what to think of Callum after the Ryder fight. I have to think Canelo is overall better than Ryder. Only advantages Ryder seems to have are in workrate and that he is a lefty.

Im thinking the other way that Canelo will take him apart over rounds and get a late stoppage, Callum is good fighter but I think in this his size will work against him because Canelo will be too quick getting inside, they both need to dictate the range and they have different effective range, its going to be interesting who wins the range war as it will win the fight.
