Only people in that region maybe excited for this fight. Fa has no momentum and is not considered a top prospect.

I feel that Parker has now largely become irrelevant in the Heavyweight conversation.

      Inactivity, questionable opponents...

So much talent, so little ambition.

It's gone nowhere since he signed with Matchroom.

They might be better off looking at PBC...

FA just hasn't panned out as a pro, he's got all these health issues and stuff plus I think his style is just more suited to amateur boxing.

It's a big step back in quality for Parker although it does make financial sense I guess

But to me it just shows a lack of ambition, Parker has main evented in front of 80,000 with AJ and he's happy to be going back to Auckland to fight a guy who isn't ready for him

Idk I just think Parker is too chilled out, typical pacific islander, I hope he doesnt waste his career, we will see him pop up in 20 years, fat as a pig living in Samoa wearing hawian shirts, guarantee it.

Yep he's going the same way as David Tua

Fa has not fought a top 50 fighter yet and is too sickly and unhealthy to get a medical clearance to enter the ring. This fight must be a big deal in NZ because to everyone else its a joke.

Maybe Matchroom hasn’t helped but there is a deeper problem here as Parker’s career is being handled terribly didn’t he also fallout with Top Rank ?

If signing with Matchroom is an example of a terrible career move, he's not alone.

...and who doesn't fall out with top rank, eventually.

For whatever reason, no contender or pretender wants to fight Parker.

I doubt a new manager and trainer would make a difference to lining up opponents...dunno eh.

Who would you like to see Parker fight next ?

Usyk or Joyce would be my pick.
