Only if Golovkin moves up and beats Plant or Saunders first.

I doubt it. GGG has always wanted to fight Canelo again but Canelo never wanted to fight GGG again so I doubt it happens but I hope it does. if Canelo was ever going to fight GGG a third time he would already have done so. Canelo's mind has not changed and he has lots of other guys he can fight.

I have always wanted to see a third fight. The first two fights were great fights and I thought GGG won both of them.

Why do you hate the guy who beat your hero twice so much? That guy you call a clown makes 16 million dollars tomorrow and that might be more than Canelo makes Saturday without his DAZN deal. He is still a world champion and an extremely wealthy successful man. He does not need your hero Canelo.

              What do you think?
I don't think so to be honest. They are in different divisions now and I doubt that either guy wants to move up or down to accommodate the other.

Also, Canelo has plenty of options now that he isn't tied to a promoter so I don't think a third Golovkin fight is a priority anymore.

Borat/GGG ducked the 3rd fight already...don't think he wants it.

Also, the fight will almost definitely NOT HAPPEN because Borat is exclusive with DAZN and Canelo can do whatever he wants...so Borat/GGG trying to dictate negotiations (again) will result in no fight. Canelo has no promoter and will not be dictated by anyone.

It's funny because at one point in time Borat negotiated with DAZN specifically to chase the 3rd Canelo fight. Part of Borat negotiations was a small piece of ownership in the App. Borat would get that and said he was Canelo's "boss". Well...that didn't work out too good...especially considering Canelo was ready to fight Borat in September, November, etc...but Borat wanted his cab driver opponent. Now he likely won't get Canelo ever again.

And I'm a huge Canelo fan. This is sad news. Big sad drama show. Canelo might've actually killed Borat in the ring if they fought again and I'm disappointed we won't get the decisive ending we deserve.

Canelo literally asked for the 3rd fight and Borat refused saying he was fighting a cab driver.

Canelo would only add a highlight reel KTFO following his close but clear win in 2nd fight.

Shame it won't happen as both guys are promotionally split at this point.

But Borat fans should be happy...they don't see their boyband crush get annihilated and they can watch him beat up cabbys for another 2-3 years

They should have fought in 2016. Zero interest in seeing it in 2021 when Canelo is a Light Heavyweight and Golovkin is forty.
