I remember Canelo saying to GGG get a world title belt and I will fight you then. GGG won a world title belt but Canelo did not fight him. GGG has clearly stated that he is not chasing a third Canelo fight or worrying about it although he would gladly fight him if the fight is offered to him. He has his own career and is not auditioning to please Canelo. He gets 16 million every fight and does not need Canelo. Hell, nobody knows what Canelo gets paid for fighting Smith since Canelo no longer has his DAZN deal. GGG might be getting paid more than Canelo for their next fights.
