I think we should be glad that we got to see fighters like Floyd and Manny in or lifetimes. It's the way I feel about those that grew up as boxing fans in the 80s. That **** must've felt like Christmas all the time. So many ATGs fighting each other.Comment

So in other words, you just don't like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and that's fine.Blatantly ducked Pacquiao from 09-11 and waited until he was old. At the end of the day, he was the A side so there was no excuse for that fight not getting made.
Clearly ran away from Margarito.
Ran away from giving Oscar a rematch.
Clearly ducked Winky.
Cheated on the scales against Marquez.
Sucker punched Ortiz
For this, he should not have got in to the HOF.
As for your list of grievances:
1. Neither Floyd or Manny faced the peak version of the other. Everyone says Floyd waited for Manny to get old as is Floyd wasn't the older fighter. Besides that, EVERYBODY ages. Some faster than others of course but inactivity can affect you too, not just being in tough fights.
2. Floyd probably wouldn't have gotten any credit if he had rematched Oscar at a weight under 154 lbs. Everyone would have said that he beat up on an old, weight-drained opponent
3. Winky was at 154 and ended up at 160. You can call it a miss if you're splitting hairs but I wouldn't call it a duck
4. I'll give you the Marquez weight issue. He should have made the 144 lb. catchweight.
5. Ortiz deserved to be sucker-punched to be honest. And it's protect yourself at all times. The ref had restarted the action
With that said, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. Just providing another perspective.Comment
