Would prefer to see Tszyu in an eliminator before jumping into a world title fight but will support him all the way he is a beast. Horn was well beaten by Tszyu but Horn appeared to be well past his best and just not strong at 154. Finally another decent Aussie on the world scene again.Comment

But how’s he the only fighter in the world to have two major stadium fights? Not true is it? Do they mean in his division? I liked his performances as of late. Be interesting to see him up against champs. Feel like he could beat Texeira. Good luck to him on future fights.Comment

If they do manage to lure a major name to fight here in my home country then they better not repeat the woeful judging that occurred when Jeff Horn was beaten by Manny Pacquiao.
Australia has a broken, scattered pathways system that picks up young fighters, drops them in their middle stage onto some backyard 'gym' where 90% of fighters are still working and training full-time until they can catch a lucky break.
We just don't have the same investment, interest, and infrastructure to take the best young fighters and nuture them all the way.
Tim Tszyu has proven he's a worthy contender - but, typically the level of competition here is club fighter level, so it doesn't take much to stand out even if you're only contender grade.
Tim knows his name has got him some attention and he's not to blame for that, but with so many people taking up the sport, why has Australia only got a handful of hopefuls?
Apart from that, I think its good Tim is ready to jump in and fight world-class competition- only then will we see if he has what it takes, he is still untested.Comment
