His unique mix of weight, height, reach, skills and heart makes him a problem for ANY heavy throughout history. Only Lennox would be more than a 50/50 fight. Vitali and Larry Holmes even money at best. Classics Clay era Ali would be a great fight but Furys size and reach would just be too much imo

Fury is the truth. He has so many ways to win. He can maul you and grind you down with size and inside fighting, he can box you from the outside, he can walk you down then slip and land hard sit down shots. He has chin and heart so that you cant put him away.

His jab with that reach is a serious weapon, and now he's sitting down on his shots more. Very intimidating set of tools

Muhammed Ali, Lennox Lewis and Tyson Fury are the 3 best heavies ever. You can't really put Fury up there yet in reality cos he hasn't retired but I think he's that good.

I have seen him fight many times and I don't think he is nearly as good as you say and not one of the 10 best heavyweights of all time. I don't think Lewis is one of the top 3 either. It is usually Englishmen who rate Fury and Lewis so high.I do think Fury i today's best heavyweight and Lewis was great.

I'm on the band wagon but let's not get carried away. He barely beat a 39 y/o, all but shot Wlad Klitschko and Wilder, who's resume is pretty thin. He probably fairs well in all h2h time matchups but he just hasn't come close to proving to be in a discussion for a top 20 all time, much less top 3.

Lennox Lewis would have taken the gypsy bum out in no more than 4 rounds.....everybody hits way too hard for Tyson fury which is why he's ducked so many mandatories and I believe he's currently ducking Deontay wilder in a 3rd fight......as much as I hate Deontay wilders fight game I'd be a fool to think he couldn't go in there and land on that glass chin of fury's and knock the gypsy bum spark out....even with all his shortcomings.

The reason for lack of big time fights on his record is that firstly he was screwed around for ages by David Haye when they had a fight scheduled twice and then he retired at the peak of his career after the Wlad fight.
