He doesn't wear those colors because jonathan banks is not a kronk style trainer. ggg ain't about any kronk style or mexican style. He is just a safety first timid fighter when the going gets tough.

I remember when you'd see cats flashing the yellow & red all the time from names to low level guys. I remember when if you saw two guys you didn't know about to fight & one had Kronk colors you knew that guy could fight & was gonna win.

It's unfortunate Kronk's influence died with Manny Steward. I think you could even argue it started going massively downhill when Manny became a big name hired gun type of trainer instead of the guy who worked with so many younger amateurs & grew them into respectable to great pros from scratch.
