Is there any Canelo fight that can be made that would draw more interest than what Tyson vs Jones did? Boxing is so lame now that fans were craving to watch two ancient has beens more than any Fight “the face of boxing” can make right now. Canelo may be the face of current boxers, but he’s not on the same level as past boxing superstars like Floyd, pac, Oscar, Tyson, Leonard.

If you go off numbers alone I would say he is about the same as Pac. They are really the only two current fighters that are getting called out regularly and having people line up to fight. Pac relied heavily on his Mexican opponents early on to establish his fanbase. Canelo had it a bit easier in that all he had to do was get embarrassed by Floyd.
