    Joshua owns Ruiz a rematch

    They are 1-1.

Fury is 1-1-0 with Wilder. If Wilder wins the third fight ( I doubt), the fourth fight will be needed.

So i say Joshua should fight Ruiz next, if Fury must fight Wilder again.

Sure why not. Joshua said he'd like to fight Ruiz again. It would be ridiculous to expect him to drop the WBO belt to do it but Ruiz let the fame and success get to him I'd happily see a better trained and focused Ruiz get a shot.

But then there is only 1 person to blame for the state he turned up to the last fight in. With the way Joshua fought I don't think it would of made a difference but that's just my opinion.

Down the road for ruiz in after 1 or 2 quality fights say vs ortiz and then joyce or usyk in a title eliminator. Yet answer to your $ The difference is rematch clauses and $ involved. 1st aj vs ruiz ruiz was thrown in last sec no rematch clause dropped then got up prevailed kept dropping aj. 2nd fight aj used his rematch clause (ruiz aint have 1) n also aj completely nullified to the point where mmm n now after the pulev fight its like ok Aj just going to box from outside like 2nd fight yet be more agressive n ready to pull the trigger. Fury vs wilder was first fight controversial on both sides yet a draw so automatic rematch without a clause 2nd fight clear loser yet wilder had rematch clause if lost and invoked it.

I agree Ruiz stopped Joshua while Joshua cautiously outboxed Ruiz.

Let’s see if Ruiz can come in disciplined now that he’s with Reynoso.

If Ruiz comes in disciplined and looks impressive against a quality opponent or two then I could see a third fight with Joshua. I think the best AJ beats the best Andy Ruiz but it would be a highly entertaining fight.

Ruiz would have to work extremely hard to close the distance and force the action because AJ would most likely stick and move to avoid too many prolonged exchanges.

I agree. I wouldnt risk another dud because he "owes him one". Andy needs to show that he is a serious boxer and needs to show that he can win after a serious training camp against top talent to get a third fight

Ruiz should have trained very hard for the rematch instead of coming in fatter than ever and under trained. he blew the only chance he may ever get. He should get a third fight but he won't. He is not important and very much the b side.

Joshua has many fights he has said he wants and we will see but Ruiz rematch may well sell in the future. Until then I suspect the following are all in front of him:

                Fury
                Usyk
                Wilder
Whyte rematch (they fought when both upcoming)
                Joyce
                Dubois
                Ortiz

Clearly Joyce and Dubois have work to do to get into position and Whyte has to beat povetkin too, but if he fights twice a year the above fights could take 3 years. Things may change in that time but I struggle to see Ruiz getting a rematch earlier than that at the moment, partially because Joshua basically beat him 12-0

Ruiz lost the right to an immediate 3rd fight when he was unprofessional tbh. Wilder doesn't really deserve a 3rd fight either since the first was a robbery but officially, I guess he does. If Ruiz can get in shape (for him) and have some good wins, then the AJ fight will be there for him. But I think the stink of his rematch still exists so he needs to do something to fix it.

I do expect AJ to lose the two fights to Fury so after that, there is a list of fights for AJ if he wants to carry on. Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz, Joyce etc. Assuming none of them fall off (I'm sure one or two will).

I dont see a third bout taking place unless Ruiz comes back successfully with couple of good wins.

Joshua has several options right now. He doesnt need Ruiz but a rubbermatch could be interesting depending on how Ruiz looks in his next fight.
