I have to watch that fight again, but if I'm not mistaken Sturm got robbed as there was a desire to match De La Hoya against Bernard Hopkins next. If there's anyone that should give Felix (Unger) a fight, it's Oscar Madison.....I mean De La Hoya.

I literally thought sturm would be a quality opp for de la hoya. Ofcourse mayweather 1st but we know aint happening so realistically get trinidad cotto sergio martinez felix sturm and lastly julio ceasar chavez jr ( good name followimg and a joke whos not taking it serious) if dlh vs chavez jr on cinco de mayo put sturm vs martinez as co main everybody getting paid and itd spur canelo if he chooses to fight around then

The consensus was that Sturm was robbed but I havent seen it in 15 years.


Im pretty sure Hopkins-DLH already had a date picked and Sturm was DLH's "tune-up" so Sturm had to completely dominate or stop him to win that one.

trinidad is also broke, he trusted someone to manage all his finances and they lost everything.
