What does Usyk do in the ring that shows he has a better boxing IQ? Don’t cite the Glassiev fight because Glassiev is a caveman with no amateur background and zero boxing IQ - he’s that crude.

Usyk’s is basic as fcck and he won most of his fights due to his workrate. Workrate =/= boxing IQ. The only time he faced anyone with a decent boxing IQ was against Breidis and it could’ve gone either way.

Apart from the bum, Wilder, and Hunter - I’d favour all the names there to beat Usyk and a couple of them will knock him out.

Anyway, he had the Povetkin fight but ran from it citing political reasons. Povetkin beats him even at age 43. He’s too crafty for a guy like Usyk.
If you want to compare amateur pedigree then Usyk wins hands down.

Pulev: European Championships gold and bronze, EU Championships gold and silver, Worlds bronze. Competed at one Olympics, no medals. Amateur record of a little over 100 wins with 3 losses.

Usyk: European Championships gold and bronze, Worlds gold and bronze. Never competed at the EUs and competed at two Olympics, medalled at one. Amateur record of over 300 wins with 15 losses.

Usyk has the better amateur pedigree.

His IQ includes his footwork which is probably only rivalled by Fury (footwork is a surefire indicator of a high boxing IQ, and Pulev's looks like an ogre in comparison), manoeuvring his opponents with said footwork and setting up his angles. His punch anticipation is also much better than Pulev's, and with his accuracy, his counter punching is much better. I don't think it's even a competition as to who's more skilled. I'm not saying Pulev isn't skilled, just that Usyk is much more so.

The only problem I see with Usyk is his slow starts and his tendency to enjoy standing in front of an opponent and taking their punches.

People can say he ran from Povetkin, but when you take into account that his main goal since turning heavyweight has been to fight AJ, it kind of sounds silly. Why avoid a wily old wolf to go for a powerful young lion? Doesn't make much sense.

Usyk the cruiserweight was great at using his height and reach to control range. He would have to change his style at heavyweight without these advantages he had at cruiserweight and he hasn't yet. He's not hard to hit and doesn't have the necessary power to keep the big heavyweights honest.

Honestly only top heavyweight I see him beating is maybe Joseph Parker.

Fury stops him. Joshua and Wilder put him in intensive care unit.
Change his style? You mean, like he did in the WSB against 6'6 opponents with a much longer reach, and beat them all? Lol on top of that, if he can box Klitschko's head off in sparring then I don't see the height and reach being the problem that most people seem to think it will be. Yes, it was sparring (countless rounds), but no world champion is gonna let a grown man make him look silly in the ring.

          Okay, let's settle this.

Fury should and will rematch wilder, I'm rooting for Fury to win a decision or get the likely option of a "draw" cos I ain't seeing fury getting a knockout win over wilder a second time.

Secondly, Joshua should take on Usyk and probably stop him or get a close decision, that then sets up the undisputed between the winners.

Usyk should take step aside money. I’d rather see him fight against Parker next. They both need that fight for themselves. Parker needs to see where he’s currently standing in the heavyweight division.

Take step aside $ with mandatory shot at winner dont get exposed and or lose before the $ fight. Take the step aside $ go fight for inaguaral bridgerweight belt vs bryant jennings or some go win a belt market self to promote fight adjust to 225. Then come in the wbo fight vs aj or fury as a 2 division champ getting more eyes and $ for the fight probably weight 225-230 but by now hopefully adjusted giving self best chance to win while cashing out. Also by winning bridgerweight then usyk would be a mandatory challenger for heavyweight shot via wbc as well so u got 2 angles at heavyweight possible 2-3 fights for belts with rematch clauses .

Joshua and Fury have a 2 fight deal in place, and if both guys win, a trilogy isn't out of the question. Usyk could be waiting anywhere from a year and a half to two years for his shot...literally anything can happen in that time period. I don't blame the guy for wanting his shot now.

Joshua and his UK man-fans never had a problem with his mandatories getting in the way of big fights before, so have at it.

                    LOL

You know your grasping at straws when you need to bring up what a fighter supposedly did in the amateurs or in sparring to defend your favorite fighter.

He certainly didn't show it against an old Chisora.
