    Hopkins vs...

    Cotto,
    Margarito,
    Manny Pacquiao
    Floyd Mayweather

All at catchweights. So if Oscar could fight a catch wate with Hopkins why can't margarito or cotto do so as well? What about Floyd he fought a middleweight being at El Canelo. Also this would be just nuts if I PAC went this high in weight. It would be definitely his highest division.

So cotto Prime for prime would get a beat down from Bernard just merciless much like la hoya fight. The only middleweight he fought was one with crutches LOL.

Prime Tony was a large welterweight. He was bound to move up in weight. He was a swarmer very face first relentless punching machine with an aggressive crowd-friendly style. Hopkins was the dirty bigger man this would have been a good scrap but Hopkins has a knockout punch plus good defence.

I don't even think Mayweather or Pacquiao could hang with Bernard he's just too damn big his reach is too long and he is too skilfull and ring savvy I guess out of all four Bernard can probably go 4 and o.

I feel for you, man, and I'm sure your intent was good but you're talking about an ATG MW who managed to stay at 160 so long by dint of near superhuman discipline. And BHops is a cerebral guy who knew how to maximise his advantages too, honestly can't see how any of these guys comes very close... Margarito would have absolutely zero shot and Miguel barely any more, Mannies speed might cause some problems but Bernard would be rocking an insane size advantage and could use it to either keep him at range or smother him and tie him up if he got close... close to a shut out I reckon. Floyds maybe got the best chance but I think the size advantage is again just too great to overcome.

Margarito is basically a non-starter, he's not skilled enough to hang with Hopkins at any weight. Even if Margarito was bigger than Hopkins, Hopkins would still clown on him.

It's feasible that Cotto could find a common weight with Hopkins at somewhere between LMW and MW and give him a decent fight. Hopkins would be a heavy favourite but I could see Cotto having some success and winning some rounds, but I still wouldn't pick him to win the fight outright.

I think Mayweather and Pacquiao are kind of pointless to speculate about, any weight that they'd be competitive at, Hopkins probably wouldn't be able to make. You've got to remember that both guys started in low weight classes and Hopkins has never been at a weight class lower than 160. IIRC Hopkins was actually pushing to fight Mayweather at some point not long before he retired but the whole thing was kind of ridiculous. It was ridiculous when Oscar challenged him too honestly and I think the outcome of the fight shows that.

Dont think BHop ever fought below 160 and Manny never fought about 150 and Floyd never above 154. Cotto went as high as 159 though.

It would be interesting to see those matchups and if Bernard was "alive" at the weight.

I like Floyd and Manny to win (154/150) decisions though. Floyd will fight on the inside and do his patented mid-range gut jab and inside gut uppercut.

Manny will blitzkrieg a dehydrated Bernard.

Margarito was a nobody. He was never good. He had 1 amazing performance against undefeated prime Cotto and then - his very next fight - is caught using plaster handwraps and gets KTFO by old shot Shane Mosley.

BHop takes Margaritas other eye if they ever fight

2-2 from those four if fight takes place at highest weight each guy fought (150 Manny, 154 Floyd, 159 Cotto, Margarito 154-160).

For the record Floyd would - rightfully - require a 151/152 CW and would not fight BHop at 154
