Pac's first fight won't be Spence or Crawford. Pac hasn't fought since the Thurman fight in July of 2019. He'll take a tune up, then he may fight one of them. I think Spence and Crawford should fight in early 2021, and Pac should fight the winner for undisputed.

A lot of all time greats that stayed in the game in there 40's fought top comp and weren't pampered so Pac is no different. Or he should just retire.

Screw that. As long as he’s not holding up the division by keeping a belt hostage there’s no harm in taking easy fights for big money. Drop the WBA and take the fights that make the most sense. That way the young guys aren’t holding out hope of fighting him, all the division can be unified, and he can take the fights that make the most financial sense. No harm in that AT ALL. His legacy has long since been secured.

He's already easily an ATG. WTF are you talking about? He doesn't need to do anything to cement that status. Anything after this point just increases his status as the best fighter of his generation hands down.

Manny hasn't fought since July of 2019, and he turns 42 in 2 days. He's not coming off a nearly 2 year lay off against Spence.

Pacquiao says he wants to fight twice in 2021, just like he fought twice in 2019. I see the first fight being a tune up. The second fight being against Spence or Crawford. Spence & Crawford both want Pac next, but if they can't get him (which they won't) there's no one out there left but each other.

Apparently you forgot that Spence just cleaned a To 5 welterweight fresh off a 400+ day layoff .

You also forgot that Manny went from Matthysse to Broner to Thurman.

Manny being older specifically means every fight has to matter. He might fight Mikey, but I doubt it.

Regardless, everyone here understands that neither Manny nor Spence is fighting Crawford in the first half of 2021.

I love Spence but let's not pretend like Danny Garcia is top 5 because the young guys haven't gotten their shot at a top 10 guy yet. I'm not sure what Danny has done at 147 to make him top 5 but whatever. I agree Manny isn't fighting anyone of note in the 1st half of 2021, it'll probably be a tune-up & then maybe Bud/Garcia/Spence. I think he should push hard for a rematch against Floyd whether it'd be an exhibition or not.
