AJ did well, it was probably the best he's looked since Klitschko tbh, those uppercuts were very nice and satisfying to watch.

I've reduced his odds against Fury based on that performance, i think it's now 80/20 for Fury instead of 90/10.

Pulev looked awful and was clearly terrified of AJ.

I agree it was his most solid performance for a while and just what was needed to make the fury fight more interesting to the casuals

I always give credit when it's due Earl my friend.

I would've liked to see Joshua call Fury out directly, but never mind.

I'm confident that the fight happens next.

Pulev was trying until the end, people raise their game vs Joshua.

Joshua's performance was alright 'Nothing special'.

I think Joshua's punching technique was off, and he can afford to come in a tad heavier around 242-245 pounds would be optimal'.

The Joshua from last night, I personally don't think would beat Tyson Fury 'It is hard to tell, nobody knows how the fighters will look together once they are in the ring etc'.

Joshua is slowly coming back, he is still clearly affected by his loss to Ruiz Junior.

The majority of fans in here have not been in a boxing ring, and it shows in certain cases. This is one of them, I'm talking about all the people saying he fights scared now etc. Joshua is an improving fighter, make no mistake. I think all the pressure is on Fury, and Joshua is much better than he gets credit for. He is adding dimensions to his game and so many here are too ****** to see it.

Bob Arum keeps saying that Joshua is made to order for Fury, I disagree.
It's one of the toughest stylistic fights out there for Fury. Joshua is dangerous in a multitude of ranges, can punch with both hands, and knows how to set his power up. He has super dangerous combinations on the inside, and is quicker than people give him credit for. The jab and straight/longer punches have improved a lot since Klitschko. In fact hes just a much more well rounded fighter now.

It's always hard to predict a heavyweight fight because a single punch can violently swing the momentum. But look for Joshua to have success early, I wouldnt be surprised if he hurts or puts Fury down in the first 5 rounds.

I think Fury will adjust, and take over down the stretch to stop Joshua late. His gas tank, experience, and range will make the difference. He will wear Joshua down, but it wont be a cake walk. Team Fury is bluffing when they say Joshua is easy, they are trying to take Joshua's confidence away and make him not believe in himself.

The psyche plays a big part - I think all the pressure is on Fury. I think Joshua will actually be relaxed and let it hang out - you'll see the best of him, like we did in the Klitschko fight. He has reached his apex, and is a big underdog, the situation suits him, and he is a very dangerous man in the Fury fight.

One thing I would be trying if I'm AJ is the jab to the body as much as possible against Fury, klitschko and Wilder both have zero body attack, AJ would be foolish to not try a different approach

I can see it going two ways

One is similar to Fury/Wlad. Almost entirely feinting and unwilling to commit on both sides with Fury happy to be winning the battle of the jabs. Occasionally in the championship rounds there’ll be danger of a fight breaking out and then AJ will go for broke but too late and lose a decision.

Or fury will easily take centre ring, constantly push AJ to the ropes and tee off. AJ gets tired and stopped mid rounds.

I thought AJ put his punches together well actually.

After last night, I certainly think that Fury would be foolish to try and walk Joshua down, he needs to stay on the outside and make it a long range fight, then tie up and lean if AJ tries to close the distance.

I just felt he was a bit wide with his punches, falling in at times as well 'I have noticed a distinct change in his punching technique, it may be down to all of that new pad-work he has been doing'.

I expect Joshua to come in a tad heavier vs Fury, Joshua is sacrificing certain aspects of his game because Ruiz Junior has traumatized him slightly.

I honestly feel like Joshua wants to take 1 more fight, before facing Tyson Fury 'Nothing is for certain when they fight, but Fury has the momentum here'.

Joshua is slowly coming back, slowly rediscovering himself.

So many haters on this forum because they obviously want a war , but he played a game of not being hit much - and he applied that approach well whilst still getting a lot of hits away. He could quite easily have forced stoppage in round 3, but he still continued and finished him in epic style later in the fight. Joshua looked just as comfortable breathing:fitness wise at round 9 as he did in round 1.

I’m more confident AJ beats fury after that fight, I don’t think he’s favourite overall but for me thats where I’ll be putting my money
