I think he's not comfortable going down to 160 after fighting all the way up at 175 last time out. He probably still has the quickness of a middleweight, but is physically strong enough, punches hard enough and has a good enough chin to fight at 168 comfortably, in addition to some stamina related benefits he may get from cutting less weight.
His upper body movement and ability to close the distance will be crucial for him fighting at this weightclass while giving up height and length. It may actually be easier for him to fight a slower and heavier 6'+ opponent at super middleweight than at middleweight.Comment
