    Dazn being sued by HBO

The poster and ads for Canelo Smith has a copyrighted term from the HBO series the wire.

If you come at the king you must not miss.

Dazn are morons this is clear infringement. Marketing 101 really.

It was said by Omar Little in the series and is on merchandise from the series.

    What's the "term"?

Do you actually mean slogan, or a TM'd phrase?

If HBO want to defend that they will ask for it to be taken down, DAZN will comply or if they refuse it will be taken to court.

Copyright is an ongoing thing......... no company can be expected to know every phrase that is TM'd....... but pretty sure Dazn will comply and take it down if sent a letter by the HBO lawyers.

.... I think that's the end of it regarding copyright laws in the US........ nothing will come of it IMO and it's probably regarded as fair-use in the context of a boxing promotion.

The OP is a known PBC shill on this site, which means he’s a ******nite troll.

The OP meant to say, “When You Load Up On Crack, You Best Better Flip It!”

I think Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “if you funna hate, hate with style!”

Here’s your Haymonite fantasy scenes from LDBC kids:

Interesting news. You got a link for it? Sorry when I said interesting news I meant it really isn't.

I googled it, nothing. Maybe that slimy slag Fannon has made a racist video about it on YouTube.

They’re LDBC coverts on the site. It’s not coincidental when the LDBC would create narratives on YouTube and the OP would spew the same news.

They mad dat Hearn flexing the hood with posters made from crack money!

I didn't even know the "term" or slogan being acused of copyright infringment............ but I am pretty well-educated on copyright laws and have seen enough to know that most of the time, the company being threatened with legal action just removes or edits the piece of media so to avoid court.

Step 1 is always a strongly worded letter......... after that it's millions in legal expense.
