Porter is the WBO's #1 ranked boxer, underneath the Champion Crawford.

If he doesn't fight Porter. He's probably vacating that belt.

Other than that. The only boxer(s) that could get Bud ready for Spence is either Porter or Thurman. Porter would be the toughest opponent Bud has ever fought. While Thurman will be the hardest punching opponent Bud has ever fought.

Two guys where Spence, has toughness and power. It would prepare Bud well for Spence.

He also said he wanted Loma, but that a substantial offer would need to be made. Meaning Top Rank were the guys with the loot to make the fight, but why in the hell would Arum even entertain that if there was grudge between Mikey and Bob. Makes no sense and gives nothing to Top Rank.

However in this case Bob would bet his chips that Crawford KO’s Mikey and that the PPV helps Bud with further negotiations. The more fight Spence does here forward the harder the splits
