Comments Thread For: Franco vs. Moloney - WBA Orders Trilogy Fight

Joshua Franco is in line for yet another trilogy in his still young career. The reigning secondary junior bantamweight titlist has been ordered to once again face Australia's Andrew Moloney, per a ruling from the World Boxing Association (WBA). The sanctioning body called for a third fight between the two, with the order coming just weeks after their November 14 rematch failed to produce a winner or a definitive outcome.

Deserves a trilogy I suppose but not a chance in hell I'd go to Australia for it if I'm Franco.

It’s only fair. Moloney has already made a trip twice over here. It’d be cool to stage it in Moloney’s backyard. The result of their second fight was disgusting and everybody who watched it knows.

It was a bad call but that wasn't Franco's call. Because of that he should go to Australia where he has zero chance at winning?

WBA did a bare MINIMUM. Maloney must come onto a 3rd fight as a champion and 1-1 participant.
