Southpaw vs southpaw isn’t like two orthodox fighters fighting though, it just always looks awkward when they fight one another. Southpaw’s generally aren’t used to fighting southpaw’s.

Yeah, I have to agree about that.

Are you talking about old Saunders or new Saunders? Wasn't a fan of the old Saunders, but he's got that beautiful Ingle style now. Don't know if it's possible for a Ingle fighter to be boring.

That said, who knows? They're both great stylists and technicians but I think they both got some dog in 'em too... either or both might figure it's in their interest to make it a fight just to try to sway the judges.. could go either way (although I'm expecting a excruciatingly cautious technical standoff)
Entertainment's not a factor for me, and thankfully, it isn't for the judges either, but even I have limits.

With that being said, I think they're being written off as boring because they're pure boxers, but Saunders can get into it if he needs to and young Andrade was a fiery one. Don't know if he still has that fire in his belly however, or his gonads, if you know what I mean...

Which is boring. But maybe if they both go for that early lead here we get a high level close fight because neither will want to risk falling behind. Or one of them takes an early lead and the other digs deep and go all out for a stoppage in the second half of the fight.

Most likely though it will be tentative, I don't mind that as long as we get a clear winner who shows their skills. Worst case scenario is they are both unimpressive. I'd like to see Canelo vs the winner but if they don't look good here it will be hard to see them beating ginger
That's kinda what I'm thinking.. hoping - that if they can't figure each other out a fight might just break out. Not expecting it exactly, but keeping my fingers Xd.

I always picture this fight potentially having the output of Quillin v Andy Lee...about 10 punches total with a lot of staring..... at least in that fight, 3 of the landed shots produced knockdowns of each fighter. Maybe similar to BJS v Lee? I can't remember that fight though - I remember low output there as well, two southpaws

For me, I don't put entertainment factor high on the list when hoping for a fight like this - it's just needs to happen already, don't care if it's a stinker. I just want to know who will win

What kills me about this site is upon signing up I thought this was a place where real boxing fans gathered together & discussed & appreciated the sweet science. But what I realized is most boxing fans aren't even fans of boxing.

Regardless if I don't find his style appealing I still watch. You never know when a fight can be epic. I recognize that he has skills but like Boo Boo they can stink up a place.

Saunders is good to watch when he lets his hands go. Great punch selection, lead uppercuts etc..
