You know where else firearm ownership is outlawed? Mexico.but according to you the founders must have hated freedom because they wrote in the constitution "a well regulated militia" and this was with muskets that took 30 seconds to reload every shot. i dont think having access to 20 semi automatic guns qualifies as well regulated and last i checked crawford wasnt in some militia defense force defending the usa. hey founders go move to china!
So only the criminals have guns there. How is that working out?Last edited by ShoulderRoll; 12-10-2020, 02:51 AM.Comment

I don't consider owning a gun a freedom at all. People who do, and have lots of them, must live in fear. How can life be enjoyed with such prominent fear? Say no to guns!Comment

guns arent outlawed in mexico my dude. not sure where you are getting your information from. prob some confirmation bias research mission. you can easily obtain a gun via private seller and a private seller can literally be anyone. in fact most of the guns in mexico come from the united states. its a literal cottage industry with randoms selling guns to other randoms. in a way its far less regulated than our own system or at least on par.
and how is it working out in europe or other industrial countries where guns are actually largely regulated or at least much more so than mexico and the us? their murder rate by gun is 50 times less than ours. so it pretty clearly works as there is much more evidence on that side then yours, not that gun ownership and regultion is the only factor into gun murders and violence. there are many other factors as well: economic, social, etc...but you cant really run with the it helps keep gun violence down argument. you should stick with the "freedom" argument. you arent even wrong. it does give people more freedom to own any firearm they want. the question should be is this a good thing or not?Comment
