He's fighting Luke Campbell in a biggest fight at lightweight atm. A win would cement him as top 3 at LW and make him an A side against any potential opponent at 135 (save for undisputed champ Teofimo & maybe Loma but he's probably moving down).

If he don't beat Luke he's on his way to being a high level novelty fighter more than a superstar doe. Always gotta win the fights or you just go down the Broner road although hopefully with less police interaction. Granted Ryan losing to Luke is forgivable if that's what happens, but it could be a deciding point in his trajectory that shows he doesn't got IT at the highest levels.

I'm rooting for him doe. The more high level guys who are popular & can fight is good for the sports as a whole & I'm always rooting for boxing over anything else.

If makes it past campbell and looks impressive u bet it yet garcia superstar super earning status isnt til welterweight the money standard division. Its good to see that future prospect of welter is in goodhands with teflo haney and garcia all with the size and abilities to move up there. Also with tank stature we know 140 is coming yet cause stature and lacks prime pac speed n angles tank only goes to 147 for $ fights becoming a more motivated broner. If even if lose fashionably along the way 1 or 2x in a trilogy series vs haney n teflo through thr divisions garcia star power would be on tact. So yes garcia is the next 1 with canelo like or better star power. Haney i dont see being a super star like that i see more of a ggg spence drawing level teflo has superstar potential imagine if bud talked and fought legit opponents

Ryan could be one of those guys who surprise people. Oscar had model looks (a number of fighters do) and still be true warriors. We'll have a good gauge on his potential in a few weeks.

Bruh Campbell is not high level. Don't be fooled by the ESPN Loma hype. Those fools hype up every opponent Crawford and Loma fight.

I'll never forget how Pedraza was an absolute bum when Tank washed and knocked him out but all of a sudden became an elite fighter after Loma struggled with him.
