This was all said before his Lemieux PPV. Therefore WHO WAS GGG to say he was some cash cow deserving “big money fights” at 168?

GGG protectors have always been the worse. Good karma with Canelo in GGG’s legacy narrative. The redhead and to take all that debt because the Kazakh Middleweight didn’t want his name revolving around Ward. Loeffler and Abel steered fans away from that while HBO only cared about the rating and subs for the Mexican star with GGg. Karma is great!
I was one of GGG's biggest fans in North America, and I pushed for the Ward fight the entire time from the beginning. One of the things that made me a GGG fan was when his team said he would fight anyone from 154 to 175. Then they changed it to 168. Then they changed it to "well Canelo is the biggest fight available first, everyone else is ducking GGG anyway, so he needs to get that popuarity by beating Canelo first in order to get the other fights."

Basically I thought even the guys at 168 and 175 were ducking GGG otherwise, with all the talk his team was doing about wanting a big fight at any weight, but being ducked, I thought they would be fighting the guys at 168 and 175 if those fights were available!

I fell for the BS, basically. It's because the other boxers around GGG were even more full of BS than Team GGG was, it made Team GGG look trustworthy by comparison! But in opinion, they turned out to be the same. Just different sides of the same coin.

Didn't it though? Did you see Ruiz doing his best Sergey Kovalev impression in the rematch? Now AJ is champ again like nothing happened, Boxing got a big Hispanic name at heavyweight now thanks to the first fight which may help Boxing make a lot of money with an American (Wilder) vs Mexican (Ruiz) matchup at heavyweight in the US (Boxing's two biggest fanbase demographics in the US, supposedly), and who knows how much money everyone made on the long odds the first fight!

Everyone wins! So you bring up Ruiz like you're disproving my argument, but IMO you're just proving it even more. But, that's just my opinion.

I mean, can you even remember the last time a prime cash cow lost two fights in a row in a clear way? Because THAT is something that will really derail a career, and derail a cash cow. And in a real sport, that would happen all the time because real sports dont care about how much money someone is paid in a contract, real sports only care about what happens during the competition on the night. So no matter how good the cash cow boxer is, it's just the odds that every few years, we will see one lose unexpectedably, and maybe get badly KOd, and maybe lose twice in a row badly, and have their career totally derailed. Floyd, Pacquiao, Canelo, Joshua, Klitschko, etc, this should happen all the time. Or maybe a career ending injury.

But it never happens. Oscar has a full career and only gets old in time to pass the torch to the next two big names, Floyd and Pac. Klitschko has a full career, and only gets old in time to pass the torch to the two big UK heavyweight names. Pac is more in his prime now at age 40 than GGG and Lomachenko and Kovalev appeared to be by 32 years old. Spence, the new American welterweight cash cow, just fought less than a year after a supposedly insane car crash, against a very big puncher in Danny Garcia, and didnt even get hurt in the fight!

Canelo, a former 154, has recently gone almost 48 rounds against GGG, Danny Jacobs (who knocked out Quillin in one round, and is a huge middleweight), and Sergey Kovalev, 4 of the biggest punchers in the sport, all taller and most significantly bigger than Canelo, and it looked like Canelo didn't break a sweat. He should have been knocked out at least vs Kovalev, possibly also GGG, but he didn't even get knocked down!

Shane Mosley says people get paid to fix fights. Said the sport is dirty. Vanes said that he took a dive vs GGG. Wilder vs Scott was definitely fixed IMO, and GBP promoted that fight, same promoter as was promoting Canelo in those four fights I mentioned. So do you really have to be a rocky scientist to see something may be going on here? Boxing is a business, after all. And in 2020 with everything we know about brain injuries, do people really want to be taking real punches from athletes in such dangerously good condition? It might not even be possible. To actually take real punches from Klitschko or Joshua, even if you are a top athlete like they are, it still might kill you just from one or two punches. It might not even possible. I'm not sure because I'm not a Doctor, but I'm starting to suspect this the case. Like could you imagine Joshua hitting Andy Ruiz with the type of punch Marquez supposedly KO'd Pacquiao with in the 4th fight? Straight into the chin? With how much more muscular Joshua is than Ruiz? That could kill Ruiz with just one punch. So if you were Ruiz, would you really risk that?

I mean, that's just one fight. Im not sure the brain even fully recovers after one concussion. So even one real fight, at this level, for any boxer, seems unrealistic. Like maybe each of them could have 1, 2, maybe 3 real fights, in a career. But after that, their brain wouldn't be able to take any more damage. So to think these guys are actually having 20, 30, 50, 60, real fights in a career, some of them every 3 months, every 6 months, even though the brain probably doesnt heal until a year or two after a hit? That just makes you wonder even more if it isn't all fake. Because it seems impossible that these guys could actually get punched in the head by such dangerous athletes 3 times per year, for 10 or 15 or 20 year careers, plus amateurs before that. Im not sure that would be medically possible.

He was definitely hurt by Liam Smith, and he was getting worn down late vs Angulo. I dont know if Liam Smith wore Canelo down, or Angulo hurt Canelo. But the first def hurt him, and the second def wore him down. And I think he was getting a bit worn down by Smith late. And seemed to feel Angulo's shots a bit late as well from being worn down.

But in terms of clear "worn downness," it happened late vs Angulo. Thats why the crowd booed when the fight was stopped even though the scorecards were wide. It's because there was a late shift in the fight. Sort of like Mikey vs Salido.

And vs Liam Smith, there was a clear "hurt" of Canelo by Smith. I don't remember if this was the punch I remember or not, but probably is this one. https://********/e46-Kl8R27U?t=1438

Canelo is really good as the BEST COUNTERPUNCHER in the game. It’s not just about technique, but his stocky build adds weight when he lands. It may not look Canelo lands with mean intentions but he does. Kovalev was popular because of his rhythm and momentum with offensive attacks. He rose to fame with the Bhop and Pascal wins. But a Canelo today would also KO both Bhop and Pascal, the ones Kovalev fought.

Bhop, Pascal, those guys don’t fight like Canelo AT ALL. Completely different style. Canelo is a counter gamer. That’s what Kovalev knew. It’s not GI Joe placement of figures to assume that Kovalev would fight as he did before nor would it work against a bigger Canelo.

To Kovalev’s credit, Canelo was 100% not drained at all unlike Kovalev who needs to cut 15lbs on the scale. Canelo was already in fight night weight on the scale. Probably hydrated 2-3lbs at most. That affect endurance and stamina.

Kovalev can now fight at Cruiser

I still didn't see either? That link just showed when Canelo crumbled Smith... Again just a round and time will work. Can't wait to see Canelo hurt. I'm wondering do you even know what that word means...

That guy has said worst things regarding GGG. Trust me, his Smith and Angulo comments are now waived. Read his post. Most GGG diehards would leave the scene all together than to admit what he said. Courage needs respect.
