Ok, with all that being said, he earned all that with victories and performance in the ring. If anyone can just choose to be a cash cow they would. The man deserves the spot he is at because of his hard work and dedication to the sport. And even being able to pick and choose opponents at whatever time.. he still picked and chose his way to having the best resume outside of Pacquiao... so give the man credit, he earned it... his first fight as a free agent and he picks the lineal undefeated in his prine callum smith who is 6-7 inches taller then Canelo and will probably enjoy a 6-7 inch reach advantage (I’m guessing) let’s let’s judge Canelo and floyd or any other free agent superstar for who they picked and chose when they were free agent cash cows... so far, I think we can all agree Canelo is off to a helluva start... the show just got started... grab your popcorn

I'm nit-picking here but callum Smith is not the lineal champion. He's the number 1 supermiddleweight, so canelo deserves alot of credit for taking him on. Should be a good fight.

P4P lists are very subjective.

Yes but you can't be P4P until you fought at multiple weights and won titles at those weights. Beating faded boxers doesn't fit the bill. Also daring to take big risky fights is another thing that gets you on it.

I don't care enough about P4P to have a list. But Canelo and Loma would be on it....Any boxers who aren't well known should not be on it either because that means they haven't had big fights.

Donaire was 37 years old. That's an asterisk right there...Inoue's best win is against an old man way past his best days.

Nobody was happy when the brook fight was signed lmao who do you talk to that knows boxing..? Kell hasnt looked remotely good since the Spence fight. He hasn't even been fighting at ww or against top guys

And have you been under a rock? Top rank is to blame for the fight not being made. I'm sure spence or Crawford would take the fight in a second.. but it DOESNT work that way. Promoters make fights not fighters

Porter and ugas both wanted to fight crawford, and like I said, Crawford would probably take those fights if it were up to him. But top rank turned them down.
