I know enough that I had Golovkin winning both fights.

Logically there’s only one way to view the Canelo vs GGG rivalry. Both were entertaining fights, and Canelo neutralized Golovkin’s power. That measure provides entertainment for how Canelo defends himself against bigger guys. Furthermore, Canelo neutralized GGG. How can one not be a fan of Canelo after those two fights. I’ve said on the board plenty of times how good GGG is and have been begging him to fight at 168.
The Kazakh feels he still has to prove a defense at 160...
I choose the Mexican who is taking on harder fights and making his resume better. Maybe fans should write a letter to GGG asking for better fights instead of crying about the Canelo series.

Second best résumé in boxing and superb skills. If he gets past Smith, then he’ll keep his spot at #1. Can’t deny his star power and accomplishments.Comment

Retire?
I kinda suspected all this not fighting constantly would make him lazy and want to retire. He was already living like if retired only fighting once a year instead of twice. Golden Boy really does kill the boxers big-time. Guess this means 5 more fights or less for Canelo. Well deserved. Now have to find someone else to follow instead of Canelo.Comment

Those who know boxing also know Lomachenko was never the #1 p4p fighter in the world, he just had good skills and the correct skin colorComment

I'm not gonna lie, he has some debatable decisions where he could've lost, I thought GGG beat him clearly the 1st fight and I thought Lara barely beat him, still I do think that he has earned the #1 spot by beating the most champions and the best fighters out there.
Don't get me wrong, in my book he still has business pending with Charlo and Bivol aside all the 168 titilists but based on his resume he will look to fight the best guys out there.
Eye test tells me Bud is a more complete fighter, I think he's got a little more dimensions to his game but the huge problem i got with him is that he has not fought anyone of notice, best wins are Gamboa and Postol.
Inoue has beat some solid guys in spectacular fashion but to me he needs to fight a Rigo caliber guy or unify the whole division to claim that spot.
My list:
1 Canelo
2 Crawford
3 Inoue
4 Spence
5 Charlo (Jermell)Comment

He basically said ESPN don't know shiet about boxing. They have a extremely biased list--They have an exclusive deal with TR and a TR fighter is always #1 on their list...what a crazy coincidenceComment
