In 2021, Terence Crawford will again not have an opponent. He’ll settle on fighting Custio Clayton.
Clayton is highly ranked by the WBO, undefeated, a former Olympian and just fought to a draw with Lipinets on national television.
That will be Crawford’s final fight with Top Rank.
Around the same time, Errol Spence will fight Keith Thurman in a PPV fight.
After that, the IBF will call on Spence to make a mandatory defense.
When that mandatory fight happens, Terence Crawford, Manny Pacquiao and Mikey Garcia will all be in negotiations with and against each other.
