Errol Spence makes a PROMISE to NSB!

See? He knows. He has to go down the list.

    Manny Pacquiao obviously next.

Crawford will get a turn. Eventually.

This gives him time to get away from Top Rank. Why not do a mandatory in the meantime?

    ...oh, right Bob

You LDBC kids don’t make any sense.

If Spence and Bud can’t agree on splits now, what makes you think Crawford is going to easily bend for new splits should Spence beat PAC? 70/30? Bud is already making more than $3mil a fight. Going to PBC does what? Crawford has to fight other Welterweights until he and Spence agree on splits where Crawford still gets less?

You Haymonites didn’t think about that huh? There’s a reason why Crawford wants PAC NOW. It’s a race for who’s A side and splits whoever gets PAC first.

We already know who the A-Side is.

It's the guy with two belts.

      Oops

Everybody is sure Spence fight Pacquiao next but me. I think Pacquiao never fights Spence or Crawford. Pac is fearless but I think Roach will keep him away from those two and have him fight slightly lesser fighters until retirement instead. Just my opinion.

He put himself in position to have Big $$$ Options instead of having to beg for a big payday like most other fighters

Pacquiao, Crawford, Thurman all are great options for him

Remember, Roach was severely demoted after he went public and told Manny to rematch Horn or RETIRE.

He no longer has any active say in Manny's fight selections. Opinions yes, but no real sway. And we've seen evidence of this by Manny actually fighting Broner (some years too late, but still).

At this point Manny's going for big fish (and rightfully so) - he either wants a Floyd rematch (which won't happen except maybe years after he retires as an exhibition), a Spence unification, or a McGregor payday.

I highly doubt McGregor actually happens, honestly. I get the sense that Dana with his recent cutting of people like Rachel Ostovich and a whole host of others means money is tight and he won't be able to crack out money for McGregor to fight Poirier AND Manny.

But Pacquiao/Spence? That can absolutely happen and I think it's an easy fight to make now that they both have basically quashed all of the legit contenders at the moment. The Ring should reinstate lineal for that fight.

as long as both stay unbeaten spence/bud is/was always going to happen...and no bud doesnt need to be free of top rank for it to happen although it could probably help....people just dont pay attention much to how things work....when it benefits both sides and is maximized it will happen...right now spence doesnt need bud and hasnt yet....the way will come when they both need each other
