im not even trashing it too much. if you read my posts i said its a great con and good for him. i put it into the larger context of his career and mindset and said you can see that he was never a risk taker and this is just more evidence of that. he always had the same mindset and this is just a further continuation of it. the mindset was "if i think i can beat this guy il fight him, if not no dice." yes age is a factor of course but mindset is much more of a factor. he never had the "i have to prove im the best mindset" and you certainly cant use the hes old excuse because as prime floyd said "Me and Margarito, we're not fighting to prove to the boxing fans who the best is." now he is still living up to that creed. floyd and paul arent fightin to prove who the best is. nothing has changed.

The last time he fought the top dog in a division in their prime, was Castillo...we all saw what happened there and probably why he changed his mindset. Up until that point, he was more or less facing the best out there.
