How would Ray Mercer do against the current heavyweights?

I think he would beat the likes of Whyte and Chisora. I think it would be close with a prime Povetkin.

As for the main guys, if Mercer could take Wilder's best punch I think he could win but I would expect Joshua and Fury to outpoint him.

Mercer would do alright. Probably a top five of the era and could potentially beat either champion.

He'd beat most of the top 10 think he could have beaten Wilder.

If Joshua fought him the way he fought Ruiz the first time it's 55-45 in favor of Joshua. If Joshua fights him the way he fought Ruiz the 2nd time Joshua wins.

Fury would beat him easily

He would hold his own, beat alot of the top 10 but did put in the odd poor performance even in his prime so maybe too inconsistent to hold him in too high regards

He could beat most, don't think he could beat Fury, but could see him beating anyone else.
He had a great chin, which is very important in the heavyweight division.
Probably would have won a ABC belt, if I had to bet on it.
