why are lopez fans so scared of a rematch

man you guys are cowardly as hell, if it was such an easy fight the first time round why dont you want to see lopez do it again and end lomas career? or you scared that loma will light him up again like he did in the 2nd half of the fight again once he got warmed up ...

Loma did better in the 2nd half. He didn't light anyone up though.

Loma almost got KO'ed in the 12th round but the dumbass ref stopped it for some reason.

I'm a Loma fan but he has no business at 135, he's too small. Loma needs to go back at 130 and fight Tank.

To me it was a clear enough fight and in a rematch I'd strongly favour the young, improving athlete over the old dog who's past his prime

I'm not even a Lopez fan or anything but it's just not a rematch I need to see.

Because Loma did light up Lopez in the ninth to the point that u can see Lopez knees buckle.

Lopez knows Loma was rusty but he also knows Loma figured him out and started taking it up to him in the second part of the fight.

They know that when Loma came on, the contest wasn't really that close and he was fighting injured.

                  Lmao

                  Keep dreaming

Loma was never 'close to being stopped'

The 1st fight was decent. Very close in the end. I'd watch it again, once Loma estaished himself his quality allowed him to take control of the fight but it was too late in the fight. Could he go earlier next time? Can Lopez repeat his success from the 1st half of it and could he even improve on it next time?

1 was good, a 2nd would be good too. But then there is other good options for both of them, a rematch is far from the only fight in the division. Especially for Lopez. I think he should go for undisputed v Haney although him and Blob Arum seem to be ready to run from Haney.
